Walden Middle School - Park Hill SD

After seeing a steady growth in enrollment for the last several years, Park Hill School District was ready to bring on a new middle school. Henderson Building Solutions provided enhanced commissioning and V4 fundamental commissioning services for this two-story building.

Our team provided design and submittal reviews, pre-functional verifications, TAB verification, and functional performance testing. We worked with vendors and the district’s facilities staff to develop the school’s systems manual, current facility requirements, an operations and maintenance plan, and an ongoing commissioning plan. The school is pursuing LEED v4 certification, so we commissioned systems such as the dedicated outdoor air system, roof top units, kitchen exhaust, fume hood exhaust, lighting controls, electrical distribution, domestic hot water, and variable refrigerant flow system to ensure they meet the proper requirements.
