Elevator Modernizations - Woman's Hospital of Texas

The Woman’s Hospital of Texas, whose primary focus is to provide healthcare for women throughout all stages of life, boasts more than 400-beds and a level IV NICU among other amenities to serve their Houston and surrounding community. The patients and staff of these five-story buildings need the elevators to operate at peak performance. Henderson was brought on to refurbish and modernize the eight hospital facility elevators and four MOB elevators on their campus. 

Before work could be done on the project, Henderson Building Solutions had to bring the previous elevator security system vendor back to the project on behalf of the client. Our construction manager established a relationship with the vendor, successfully communicating the importance of their role in disconnecting, reconnecting, and ensuring proper operation of the system. With the vendor back on board, the construction manager was able to remove several weeks of turnaround time from each elevator's retrofit cycle and each elevator operated with less downtime. 

By going above and beyond, Henderson Building Solutions delivered a solution that moved the project forward.
